Gerry Delongchamp
Art Bio
Gerry
Delongchamp is originally from Oregon, but has lived
most of her adult life in foreign countries. She is a self-taught artist and started
developing these talents by constantly drawing during
her childhood. She took several art classes when
she was living in Springfield Oregon. These
classes gave her the confidence to explore other mediums
where she fell in love with pastels and watercolors.
When
she moved to Pine
Bluff, Arkansas
and joined the Pine Bluff Art League, with the help of the members
and support of the members, her art career really
blossomed. She
prefers realism but has a lot of fun with abstracts
which are influenced by her years living in Asia. She
is an award-winning artist in both pastels and
watercolors and has exhibited throughout Arkansas,
Oregon, and Michigan.
Gerry
had a painting accepted into the Mid-Southern
Watercolorist juried show which was exhibited at the Arkansas
Historical Museum in Little
Rock, Arkansas. She received second place
at Garvin Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas Pastel
Society.
